I am grateful to be awarded the UniCredit Econ Best JM Paper Award during my attendance at the European Job Market for Economist in December 2020

He received his PhD from New York University and, before joining UCLA, was on the faculty at Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis. He does empirical research in applied microeconomics, focusing primarily on law and economics and political economy. His work addresses questions concerning information in legal and political environments. He has published in Econometrica and the Review of Economic Studies.
