I recently graduated from Bocconi University Milan and will be joining Yale-NUS College as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Social Sciences (Philosophy, Politics and Economics). My research has received generous funding from the Roberto Franceschi Foundation, the LEAP-Bocconi, and J-PAL Southeast Asia. I am grateful to be awarded the UniCredit Econ Best JM Paper Award during my attendance at the European Job Market for Economist in December 2020

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham. During my PhD, I was a visiting student at the IAE-CSIC in Barcelona.

I am interested in Economics of Education, Public Economics, Labour Economics, and Microeconomics.

Bernardo Silveira is an Assistant Professor. He received his PhD from New York University and, before joining UCLA, was on the faculty at Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis. He does empirical research in applied microeconomics, focusing primarily on law and economics and political economy. His work addresses questions concerning information in legal and political environments. He has published in Econometrica and the Review of Economic Studies.
