Jose G. Montalvo
Universitat Pompeu Fabra, BarcelonaJosé G. Montalvo is Professor of Economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and Research Professor at the Barcelona GSE. He has served as Chairman of the Economics and Business Department and Vice rector for Scientific Strategy at UPF. Among recent awards he got the Prize Rey Jaime I in Economics (2019) and the Catalonia Prize of Economics (2018). He has published papers on economic development (ethnic diversity, social conflicts, and terrorism), housing finance, and young labor markets.
