I am a labor economist currently working on topics related to disadvantaged children, the integration of immigrants and labor market effects of immigration.
I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen and a Research Fellow at IZA and CReAM. I lead the Economic Assimilation Research Network, which was awarded the Innovation Fund Denmark’s Grand Solutions research grant in 2017.

I am an applied economist with particular interest in the fields of labor, public and health economics.

I am a Machine Learning Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. My primary field is Econometrics.

I mainly work on dimensionality reduction and factor models. I also work on causal inference in panel data models, and have lately been interested in discrimination and algorithmic fairness.

Christian Friedrich is a Research Advisor in the International Economic Analysis Department at the Bank of Canada. His primary research interests include international finance and banking, open economy macroeconomics, and monetary policy.
