I am interested in how the social environment affects economic and health outcomes, with a focus on developing countries. My current field work is based in Uganda.

Alexander MacKay

Alexander MacKay is an assistant professor at Harvard Business School. His research focuses on matters of competition, including pricing, demand, and market structure. Previously, he was a postdoctoral scholar at Harvard Business School and at Harvard Kennedy School. Professor MacKay earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago.

W. Bentley MacLeod is Sami Mnaymneh Professor of Economics, Professor of International and Public Affairs, and an affiliated Law Faculty at Columbia University in the City of New York. Vice-President 2020-2021 (President 2021-2022), American Law and Economics Association, Past President of the Society of Institutional and Organizational Economics, and Fellow of the Econometric Society and the Society of Labor Economists.
