I am a Post-doc at the Research Institute for Industrial Economics (IFN). I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Uppsala University in May 2020.

I am a microeconomist interested in both theory and applied work. My main research area is income inequality and its effects on the economic choices of households. My current work concerns household debt and consumption. Another area of interest is entrepreneurship and understanding what policies and institutions best promote innovation.

I am a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST) and ENSAE majoring in Theoretical and Financial Econometrics.

My academic work deals with the memory property of financial time series and its implication for volatility modeling, risk measures inference and portfolio construction.

I am a Senior Research Economist at the Central Bank of Malta within the Economic Research Department. My interests mainly lie in the field of applied Macroeconomics with the usage of Bayesian techniques.
