EEA Presidential Address

Silvana will discuss the climate-change targets pledged in three main international climate-change agreements - the Kyoto Protocol, the Copenhagen Accord and the Paris Agreement - assessing countries’ compliance with targets and the overall impact on greenhouse gas emissions and activity. She will zoom in on specific laws and policies enacted in some countries to reduce emissions, including carbon taxes, to gauge their effects.
