Jenny C. Aker

Jenny Aker is a professor of development economics at The Fletcher School and with the Department of Economics at Tufts University, and a Senior Researcher with Wageningen University and Research. She also serves as the Director of the Fletcher Leadership Program in Financial Inclusion (FLPFI), the Deputy Director of the Hitachi Center for Technology and International Affairs and the co-Director of the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy (CIERP).

Yusuf Emre Akgunduz

Yusuf Emre Akgündüz is a faculty member at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the Sabanci University. Prior to joining the Sabanci University, he worked as an economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and the CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. He holds a PhD from the Utrecht University. His main research areas are labour economics, firm dynamics and international trade.

Laura Alfaro

aura Alfaro is the Warren Alpert Professor of Business Administration. At Harvard Business School since 1999, she is also a Faculty Research Associate in the NBER IFM and ITI Programs, CEPR IFM program, member of the International IFC Economic Advisory Board, and CLAAF. She served as Minister of National Planning and Economic Policy in Costa Rica from 2010-2012, taking a leave from HBS.
