Christopher Dobronyi

My research focuses on the partial non-parametric identification and estimation of demand and preferences using big data. In September, I will be joining the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago as an Assistant Instructional Professor in Computational Economics.

Sebastian Doerr

Sebastian Doerr joined the BIS in 2019. His research interests cover financial intermediation and macroeconomics, with a focus on how innovation affects the financial sector and the economy. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Zurich. His research was awarded the European Economic Association's "Young Economist Award", as well as the "Young Innovators Award" at the Vordenker Forum.

Magdalena Dominguez

My research interests are broadly related to issues such as public economics, economics of crime, policy evaluation, applied econometrics and network analysis. My latest research has focused on policies that take both soft and hard approaches to tackle crime in urban settings.

Ruben Dominguez Diaz

I am Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics, doctoral fellow of the Research Training Group 2281 "The Macroeconomics of Inequality", and member of the Young ECONtribute Program (YEP).

My research interests include macroeconomics, inequality, labor markets, and monetary economics.

Cynthia Doniger

I am an economist at the Board of Governors of Federal Reserve. My research investigates the nature of labor contracts. I approach these research questions using a micro-data and micro-theory toolkit and typically evaluate findings with a macro perspective.

Valerio Dotti

I am a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
My primary research fields are Applied Microeconomic Theory, Political Economy and Public Economics.
My research interests include the political economy of population ageing, immigration, public spending, and greenhouse gas emissions.
