Sebastian Doerr

Sebastian Doerr joined the BIS in 2019. His research interests cover financial intermediation and macroeconomics, with a focus on how innovation affects the financial sector and the economy. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Zurich. His research was awarded the European Economic Association's "Young Economist Award", as well as the "Young Innovators Award" at the Vordenker Forum.
